All mattresses in the house are cool top deep-pocket mattresses for the best night’s sleep. Across from the queen bedroom is a sliding wood door to a recently added media room cork flooring, 75” smart TV, oversized couch with chaise lounge, board game storage, and Xbox gaming system. The resilience of the construction of Hunter House is partially due to the use of heartwood tidewater cypress, a favorite of Frank Lloyd Wright’s due to its warm red tone and natural resistance to water.
